⭐ Features

⭐ Features

100% Waterproof

Our Medium Duty Tarps are born waterproof. The raw materials used in their production are waterproof, ensuring that each layer of our tarps provides complete waterproof protection. Unlike other tarps, which often have only a thin, water‑resistant coating applied after manufacturing, our tarps offer full waterproofing throughout.

XF Film – Swiss Patented Film

Our Medium Duty Tarps are made from 70 GSM XF Film. This specialised Swiss‑patented film ensures exceptional strength, durability, and reliability. Our unique manufacturing process sets our tarps apart from anything else in the industry.

UV Resistant – 3 Year Guarantee

ARK Medium Duty Tarps offer excellent UV resistance and come with a 3‑year UV guarantee. Designed for extended outdoor use, they will not peel, crack, or disintegrate under harsh sunlight, making them ideal for Australia’s extreme weather conditions.

Ultrasonic Welded Eyelets

The eyelets on the Medium Duty Tarps are ultrasonically welded onto a sleeve of thick plastic, integrating them into the tarp material for added strength.

Strong & Reliable

During our manufacturing process, the layers of raw material are laminated in opposing directions, creating greater cross‑directional strength. Unlike normal poly tarps that are typically woven in a single direction, ARK Medium Duty Tarps offer superior strength and better field performance.

Backed by Australian Lab Tests

All our tarps have been tested to meet various Australian standards. When we say our covers are tried and tested, we mean it. We control the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring all quality and compliance checks are met before the product reaches your hands.

Select a topic below to view the advice.

Tarp doesn’t fit the intended area

Measure the area beforehand and check product dimensions carefully. Sizes listed online are finished sizes in metres. Always consider any overlap needs.

Small tears or punctures

Avoid sharp edges during installation. Get in touch with us for free repair tape.
You can also use the following to patch up small tears or punctures: duct tape, PVC tape, speciality tapes such as Duck Gel Tapes or T-Rex waterproofing tapes, or super glue.
Ensure the area is clean and dry prior to any patch being applied.

Seal two tarp pieces together

We don’t usually recommend this as modifications to the tarp will void the warranty.
If you would like to seal two pieces together, you can heat seal it by melting the plastic or using a heat-sealing machine.

Tarp not staying secured

Use appropriate ropes or bungees through eyelets.
Check for loose connections due to weather.
Ensure rope is applied on top of the tarp to prevent the parachute effect.

Tarp eyelets tearing

Check all the eyelets on the tarp are secure for even load distribution.
Ensure that there is no water pooling and adding weight to the eyelets.
Make sure ropes/straps are applied across the top of the tarp to prevent the parachute effect.
Get in touch with us for tarp clips to replace any broken or torn eyelets.

Eyelet aluminium plating coming out

This is normal and can occur when the tarp is being used.
The eyelets on the tarp are plastic welded and then plated with an aluminium ring.
The aluminium rings are pressed on top of the plastic welded eyelets and can sometimes come loose.
The tarp can continue to be used and will perform using the plastic eyelet without the aluminium ring.
