Tips & Tricks

When using the trailer cover we highly recommend that you do the following:

Ensure that all the eyelets are secured to the trailer
Rope is applied across the cover. It is best to put a rope across the length and width of the cover to protect the cover and ensure the wind doesn’t blow it away
Allow for water to run off from the cover and not pool in the middle. The water will not cause any leaks, but the pooling will add extra weight and strain to the corners of the cover
Don’t force the zips across a wide gap as it can damage the zips
For maximum weather protection, ensure the cover is taut when secured. This prevents water pooling and reduces wind resistance.

Note – The performance of each trailer cover varies in accordance with the use and type of install. The trailer cover should be roped over to avoid the “parachute effect” and protected from sharp objects & edges.

1. What material is the trailer cover made from?

Our Trailer Covers are made from a specialised film called XF Film ensuring UV protection, durability, and strength.

2. Are the trailer covers fully enclosed?

Yes, we have designed our Trailer Covers for cage trailers, and the covers are fully enclosed. Each side of the cover is heat welded to ensure there are no leaks, acting as a fully enclosed sleeve for your cage trailer.

3. Does the trailer cover come with any zips?

The Trailer Covers have 2 zips in the back, allowing you to open the back flap of the cover for easy access to the trailer.

4. What sizes are available for the Trailer Covers?

We offer a variety of sizes to suit standard trailer cages, ranging from 6ft x 4ft up to 8ft x 5ft. Check out our sizing table to find the right cover for your trailer.

5. What colour options can I get with trailer covers?

The Trailer Covers come in a black colour.

6. How do I secure the trailer cover?

Each trailer cover comes with 20 tie-down points provided through ultrasonically welded eyelets along the bottom of the cover. We recommend using bungee cords, ropes, or shock cords through the eyelets to secure the cover to your trailer bars. Additionally, it is important to apply ropes across the top of the cover to secure it while driving.

7. Is there any flexibility in the cover size? For instance, my trailer dimensions are 225 x 132 x 62 cm, while your cover measures 220 x 130 x 65 cm. Will this fit?

Our Trailer Covers are designed with a bit of extra allowance to fit most standard cages comfortably. As a general guideline, the covers have a margin of +5% from the listed size. So, a 220cm cover would have enough margin to stretch to about 230cm.
Additionally, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind refund policy. If the trailer cover doesn’t fit, simply contact us to return it for a refund, as long as it meets our return conditions.

8. Can I drive with the cover on the trailer?

Yes, you can drive with the cover on the trailer provided you have properly secured it. This includes using ropes across the width and length of the cover to prevent it from catching wind or getting damaged.

9. Can I order a custom-sized Trailer Cover?

We do offer custom sizes for bulk orders only. Contact our sales team to discuss your specific size requirements.

10. Do the Trailer Covers come with a warranty?

Yes, all our covers come with a 3-year warranty. Please refer to our warranty policy for detailed information.

11. Can I use these trailer covers for purposes other than trailers?

While designed specifically for trailers, these covers can also be used to protect other equipment or vehicles, such as ATVs or lawnmowers.

12. How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on your location. We aim to dispatch all our orders within 1 business day from our warehouse in Melbourne. Please refer to our delivery/postage section for a rough guide on delivery times.

13. How does the Trailer Cover protect against different weather conditions?

Our Trailer Covers offer comprehensive weather protection. They’re 100% waterproof, UV-resistant for 3 years, wind-resistant when properly secured, and provide a barrier against dust and debris. The multi-layered construction also helps insulate against temperature extremes.

Warranty Policy

Trailer covers come with a 3 year warranty. Please note that the warranty does not cover breaking of the zips or any tears to the eyelets, zippers and/or the cover as these can occur from factors beyond our control.

If you are driving with the cover, it is very important that you apply ropes across the length and width of your cover. Simply securing the eyelets is not enough when driving with the cover on. You need to protect the cover from flapping and excess wind pressures.
