Terms and Conditions & Product Warranties

30 Days money back guarantee:

We offer a ‘No Questions’ 30 day money back guarantee. All items must be unused and in original condition, and to be returned in the original packaging.
For all returns, the customer will need to email returns@arktarps.com.au to get the RA# from our office and which will need to be quoted on the parcel and return documentation.

We reserve the right to charge a minimum 15% re-stocking fee on all returns.

The buyer is responsible for returning the item to our warehouse, including the cost of sending it back to us.

Please note, depending on the size of the tarp, some tarps may be delivered on a small pallet/skid. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they put the tarp back on the pallet/skid to be returned to us. A product delivered on a pallet must be returned on a pallet.

Additionally, due to transport company restirctions, any tarp delivered on a pallet/skid will need to be collected from a commercial address in order to be returned to us. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the pallet/skid is collected from a commercial address.

Where we have offered free delivery on the original purchase, we reserve the right to charge the actual shipping cost and deduct this amount from the refund amount upon return.

All items will be checked upon return before processing the refund.

We cannot accept returns or offer a money back guarantee on Custom sizes and custom orders.

Hay Tarps, Silage Tarps & Weed Control Tarps have a 14 days money back guarantee:

These tarps are affected by seasonal requirements and hence we offer a ‘No Questions’ 14 day money back guarantee for them. All items must be unused and in original condition, and to be returned in the original packaging.

Handling Time:

All items ordered on the website will be shipped out within 1 working day from the date of the order. Please note this does not include any holiday periods, closures, weekends or public holidays. While we will endeavour to book the tarp for pick up within 1 business day from the date of the order, we cannot guarantee that the item will be picked up by the relevant transport company within the alloted time period.

While best efforts are taken to ensure that the stock availability is correctly reflected on the website, however there can be instances when the stock is not actually available. In such instances, we shall notify you and offer a full refund or an alternative item or size, to meet your needs.

Custom Size Turnaround time:

We will provide you with an estimated delivery time for all custom size orders. The estimated delivery time will be informed before the order is confirmed.

Custom Size Care and Handling:

Depending on the size of your custom tarp/cover, items are packed with durable strength custom made packaging to protect the items inside on the journey to you. All items are checked prior to packing and handled with great care, to ensure that each item is dispatched in perfect condition. ARK Tarps is not directly liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any goods whilst in transit; however if your item arrives damaged please contact us at sales@arktarps.com.au

Delivery Delays:

The delivery timeline provided by us for your custom order indicates approximate times only – they are not guaranteed delivery times. ARK Tarps cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for any delays in orders arriving at their destinations. This includes, but is not limited to: production delays, delays with any nominated carriers or carrier agents/representatives, delays in processing and clearance, delays resulting from industrial strikes/protests/wars/natural disasters, road, traffic or busy periods with freight companies.

Under no circumstances will ARK Tarps be held responsible or liable in any way for any claims, damages, losses, injuries, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever (including, without limitation, any direct or indirect damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information or life) resulting or arising directly or indirectly from your use of our products or from your reliance on the information and material on this website, or emails or product insert, even if ARK Tarps has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance.

UV Guarantee:

ARK Tarps gives a 3 year UV guarantee for our tarps. This guarantee is extended to the first retail purchaser of the tarp and extends for a period of 3 years from the date of first retail purchase. This UV guarantee covers the replacement of a tarp that peels / cracks / or is no longer waterproof, due to UV exposure only.

The guarantee does not apply to any tarpaulin that has been subject to accident, misuse, neglect, corrosive chemicals, extreme weather conditions, normal wear and tear, shipment or causes external to the tarpaulin. Similarly incorrect tie downs, strong winds, excess pressure and other such factors beyond our control, can cause damage / tearing to the eyelets and the tarp. Such damage is not covered under the guarantee.

The tarp for which the UV guarantee is being claimed will require to be sent back to ARK Tarps by the customer, after obtaining the RA# from our office, along with the proof of purchase. The cost of returning the cover will be at the expense of the consumer. Any expenses incurred by the consumer in making the guarantee claim are at the cost of the consumer.

The exchange guarantee will be confirmed after inspection.

ARK Tarps reserves the right to charge the customer for the shipping cost for the tarp sent in exchange.

The Tarp sent in exchange will not carry any additional guarantee period. The UV protection guarantee will expire at the end of 3 years from the date of purchase of the original tarp.

This guarantee expires immediately if you make any modifications to the tarp yourself.

ARK Tarps Warranty

ARK Tarps warrants your ARK Tarp to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is extended to the first retail purchaser of the tarps for consumer use, and lasts for 3 years commencing from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the replacement of any tarpaulin that has a manufacturing defect.

This warranty does not apply to any tarpaulin that has been subject to accident, misuse, neglect, corrosive chemicals, extreme weather conditions, normal wear and tear, shipment or causes external to the tarpaulin. Similarly incorrect tie downs, strong winds, excess pressure and/or other factors beyond our control, can cause damage / tearing to the eyelets and the tarp. Such damage is not covered under your warranty.

While we endeavour to give you the exact size as mentioned on the product, there is always going to be some tolerance in the final product and our eyelet spacing between each eyelet can vary, this is not considered a manufacturing defect.

If you discover a defect during the warranty period and wish to obtain a replacement, please forward to ARK Tarps at our contact us page address a written description of the claimed defect and a copy of the original invoice. If requested by ARK Tarps the Products are returned at the Purchaser’s cost to ARK Tarps for review.

Any expenses incurred by the consumer in making the warranty claim are at the cost of the consumer.

In our website and product insert we suggest and recommend particular varieties for different uses. However we take no guarantee for on field performance, and the buyers need to be sure of their requirements. All descriptions are to be used as a guide only and do not imply usage. We will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of our tarpaulins.

This warranty expires immediately if you make any modifications to the tarp yourself.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits to the consumer given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under law in relation to the goods or services to which the warranty relates.

Purchaser’s Responsibility

The original purchaser of the Product (Purchaser) must inspect the Product on delivery and shall within 30 days of delivery notify ARK Tarps of any alleged defect, damage, or failure to comply with the description or quote. The Purchaser shall afford ARK Tarps an opportunity to inspect the Product within a reasonable time following delivery if the Purchaser believes the Product is defective in any way. If the Purchaser fails to comply with these requirements, the Products shall be conclusively presumed to be accepted by the Purchaser and free from any defect or damage.

Where ARK Tarps has agreed in writing that the Purchaser is entitled to reject a Product, ARK Tarp’s liability is limited to either (at ARK Tarp’s discretion) replacing the Product or repairing the Product provided that:

  • the Purchaser has complied with the provisions of the Warranty;
  • if requested by ARK Tarps, the Products are returned at the Purchaser’s cost within 30 days of the delivery date or the timeframe otherwise specified by ARK Tarps;
  • Any expenses incurred by the purchaser in making the warranty claim are at the cost of the purchaser

ARK Tarps will not be liable for Products which have not been stored or used in a proper manner; the Product is returned in the condition in which they were delivered and with all packaging material, brochures and instruction material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances

Tarp Size & Colour:

While we endeavour to give you the exact size and/or colour as mentioned on the product, there is always going to be some tolerance in the final product. This is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.

Eyelet Spacing:

Our eyelet spacing between each eyelet can vary slightly. This is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.

Furniture Cover UV Guarantee

ARK Tarp gives a 3 year UV guarantee on the furniture cover fabric. This guarantee is extended to the first retail purchaser of the furniture cover and extends for a period of 3 years from the date of first retail purchase. This UV guarantee covers the replacement of any furniture cover that peels / cracks / or is no longer waterproof, due to UV exposure only.

This guarantee does not apply to any furniture cover that has been subject to accident, neglect, corrosive chemicals, extreme weather conditions, normal wear and tear, colour fading, shipment, misuse or abuse however caused. The guarantee does not apply to any damage caused to your furniture / item covered by our furniture covers.

The cover for which the UV guarantee is being claimed will require to be sent back to ARK Tarps by the customer, after obtaining the RA# from our office, along with the proof of purchase. The cost of returning the cover will be at the expense of the consumer. Any expenses incurred by the consumer in making the guarantee claim are at the cost of the consumer.

The exchange guarantee will be confirmed after inspection.

ARK Tarps reserves the right to charge the customer for the shipping cost for the cover sent in exchange.

The cover sent in exchange will not carry any additional UV guarantee period. The UV protection guarantee will expire at the end of 3 years from the date of purchase of the original cover.

This guarantee expires immediately if you make any modifications to the cover yourself.

Furniture Cover Warranty

ARK Tarps warrants your furniture cover to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is extended to the first retail purchaser of the covers for consumer use, and lasts for 12 months for standard covers and 3 years for premium covers, commencing from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the replacement of any furniture cover that has a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not apply to any furniture cover that has been subject to accident, neglect, corrosive chemicals, extreme weather conditions, normal wear and tear, colour fading, shipment, misuse or abuse however caused. The warranty does not apply to any damage caused to your furniture / item covered by our furniture covers.

Similarly, strong winds, excess pressure and other such factors beyond our control, can cause damage / tearing to the furniture covers. Such damage is not covered under your warranty. Hay Anchor Tarps Additional Terms & Conditions

The warranty expires immediately if you make any modifications to the tarp

The warranty expires immediately if you use other Hay Anchor Bolts. The Hay Anchor Tarps are designed to be used with ARK Tarps supplied Hay Anchor Bolts only

Our Hay Anchor Bolts are designed to be used with a drill machine and are not to be hammered. The bolts will require a 15/16″ or 24mm socket head for fitting with a cordless drill

Under no circumstances will ARK Tarps be held responsible or liable in any way for any claims, damages, losses, injuries, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever (including, without limitation, any direct or indirect damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information or life) resulting or arising directly or indirectly from your use of our products or from your reliance on the information and material on this website or product insert, even if ARK Tarps has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance.

All buyers acknowledge that they have read and agree to the terms and conditions listed. Purchasing from us is your acceptance of our terms.

The Purchaser’s Responsibility for warranty applies to all our products.

Postage and Delivery Terms and Conditions

All shipping costs are calculated at checkout. If your order is above $100 then you are eligible to receive free shipping across Australia. Please note this does not apply to Hay Tarps, Silage & Weed Control Tarps. You will be charged a shipping fee for these agricultural tarps.

Delivery excludes PO Box addresses, Parcel lockers and is via various carriers with Authority To Leave option only, so please ensure your delivery drop address is secure. Please note that ARK Tarps will not accept liability for ANY lost, damaged, or stolen orders, or orders destroyed by pets.

All items are delivered with authority to leave (safe drop). If deemed unsafe by the carrier who is delivering the parcel, items will be carded for collection at the nearest depot.
