Tips & Tricks
When using the trailer cover we highly recommend that you do the following:
- Ensure that all the eyelets are secured to the trailer
- Rope is applied across the cover. It is best to put a rope across the length and width of the cover to protect the cover and ensure the wind doesn’t blow it away
- Allow for water to run off from the cover and not pool in the middle. The water will not cause any leaks, but the pooling will add extra weight and strain to the corners of the cover
- Don’t force the zips across a wide gap as it can damage the zips
- For maximum weather protection, ensure the cover is taut when secured. This prevents water pooling and reduces wind resistance.
Note – The performance of each trailer cover varies in accordance with the use and type of install. The trailer cover should be roped over to avoid the “parachute effect” and protected from sharp objects & edges.
